Casa Maria is a house in Teglio, in the heart of Valtellina. Three apartments, a garden and a wellness floor. The place does the rest.
Our Story
Teglio rests at 1000 metres along the Rhaetian slope of Valtellina, a place where time slows and traditions endure. It is here that the valley takes its name.
Casa Maria is our way of belonging to this landscape. A family home, gently transformed into a place of hospitality, a small collection of independent apartments designed for living, not passing through. Two buildings, a villa and a semi-detached house, share the same view.
Everything here invites you to slow down. To reconnect with simple rhythms, with nature, with what feels essential.
We created Casa Maria as the place we were looking for ourselves: somewhere to stay a little longer, to breathe a little deeper, and to feel rooted.
Manifesto
Casa Maria has never been defined by its past alone. An old family home that continues to evolve, it preserves its original soul while embracing a new way of experiencing the mountains. Thoughtfully restored and transformed into a boutique apartment, it stands in San Gervasio, near Teglio, surrounded by the authentic landscape of Valtellina.
The house has always been a place of connection - a setting shaped by family life, homecomings and the passing seasons. Every room reflects its bond with the land through stone, wood, natural light and traditional materials, reinterpreted with a quiet, contemporary sensibility.
Here, time still follows the rhythm of nature: long summer days, the colours of autumn, the stillness of winter and the awakening of spring. In an increasingly fast-paced world, Casa Maria invites you to slow down and discover a more intimate Valtellina - one of open landscapes, simple rituals and authentic mountain life.
Today, we care for this house with the same respect with which it has been lived in by our family, preserving its memory while guiding it gently into the future.
